Praise God from whom all blessings flow. I am extremely humbled to be penning this message to each of you. It is a privilege to serve as the 8th Pastor of this great church. To serve as the Pastor of the church that the Lord used to launch my ministry, and to serve as the Pastor of the church that my Pastor, Dr. Landon L. Williams, Sr. served for forty-five years. All praise and honor is to be given to the Lord Jesus Christ.
This first year has been one of transition and triumph. As we began to walk in, "Our Season of Increase" it is through our faith that God will increase each one of us in this next chapter in the life of our great church. We know that God has already established a sure and strong foundation for us and now it is our time to build upon what has been established.
In verse 3 of Philippians 1 Paul says, "I thank my God upon every remembrance of you." Just like the Apostle Paul when I think of the members of Greater Macedonia, I must thank my God for every one of you. Thank you, not just for this last year but for the last four years since I returned home to serve you, our church, and our God. Thank you for the unconditional love you have shown me, my wife, and our daughter. We love and appreciate all that you have done.
To our sister churches that have come to celebrate with us, Thank youl For the guest Pastors who will share the Word of God, Thank you!
To the Pastor Aide Committee that planned this grand occasion, words cannot express my gratitude for all you have done. The hours you have put in and the commitment that has been shown is second to none. This has been planned with a spirit of excellence!
To my wife and daughter, thank you for always supporting me and praying for me. I know this year. has been an unusual year for us as a family but through it all we have victory!
