Bishop Alvin R. Foley
Candidate
With heartfelt joy and a deep sense of calling, Bishop Alvin R. Foley presents himself as a candidate for the sacred role of pastor to the Greater Macedonia Baptist Church. A native and resident of Houston, Texas, Bishop Foley has preached the Gospel for more than forty years. Throughout his life, God has faithfully guided his steps, shaping him for ministry through family influence, rigorous preparation, and hands-on pastoral experience.

Pastor Jeffrey C. Thompson
Candidate
Pastor J. C. Thompson, Sr. was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and is a proud graduate of Central High School of Tuscaloosa. He preached his first sermon on Father’s Day in 1995, was licensed to preach in August 1996, and ordained in February 1998 under the leadership of his pastor, the late Rev. Dr. Myron Hamner, Sr., of Friendship Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa.

Pastor Kevin W. Thorpe Sr
Candidate
Kevin W. Thorpe Sr. was born to Slater and Elouise Thorpe on November 15th, 1973
He is a ministerial son of the historic Mt. Ararat Baptist Church of Jacksonville. He is a Jacksonville native and a 1991 graduate of Jean Ribault Senior High School. From 1997 to 2001 He served as the Transportation manager and Mechanical Maintenance Director for the USF Dugan Freight Line, Jacksonville office. He has served as the Senior Pastor of Faith Missionary Baptist Church of Gainesville, Fl since 1998. Under his leadership the church has grown significantly and has successfully completed two building projects, resulting in a 500 seat sanctuary and an educational and ministry office complex.
