Renewed Strength

"He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall; But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:29-31)

God has commissioned your servant as God commissioned Moses to lead His people to the promise land. The same God that guided Moses guided this, your servant, to lead His people from the east side of Jacksonville to the north side of Jacksonville. That same God allowed me in November 1999 to preach on Mount Carmel, the same mountain where Elijah preached to God’s people.

Upon God’s direction, God has allowed us to cross the Red Sea of time to this present site.

I. God has inspired His servant and His people to build Him a sanctuary to worship Him in spirit and in truth.

II. God has inspired His servant and His people to provide better housing for people with limited resources. God’s servant and His people have built Rosalind Villas; a one-hundred twenty (120) unit development designed for senior living, next door to the sanctuary.

III. God has inspired His servant and His people to provide free medical care for people who are uninsured or those with no insurance. We have a total of five (5) clinics, Agape Clinics, strategically located in the Jacksonville area where healthcare is provide for people who are uninsured.

IV. Finally, God has inspired His servant and His people to host an in house tutoring program that is open, free of charge, to all school aged children regardless of their religious affiliation, so that no child will be left behind.

For more than four (4) decades God had a purpose for our ministry to be a victorious instrument. In this place and on God’s earth we have endeavored to comply with God’s direction and in many respects this church has done the impossible. Without hesitation we have accepted the challenge and have done so much with very little resources but it is only through the power of God and the grace of God that we are able to succeed.

Finally, I thank God for the family of Macedonia and I thank God for allowing me to serve Him before His people and I pray that God will continue to bless His people and His pastor.

Yours in His Name,

Dr. Landon L. Williams, Sr.
